PROJECT AMERICA RUN: How Can I Help?
	As Mike runs his way across the country there are a number of ways that anyone could help, especially by: Spreading the word Making a donation Spread the Word In general, anything that you can do in your community to generate enthusiasm and raise awareness of the event would be great. It is really easy to track Mike and figure out if he will be coming through or will be close to your town. Once you know when he will be near your town, you can share this information with friends, neighbors, the local newspaper, radio, and/or TV stations, etc. You could even organize an event to enable people to cheer Mike on. Mike is also happy to have people run along with him. This is a great way to actually understand the experience that Mike is going through on a daily basis and to give him moral support to help him along on his journey. If you aren't able to join Mike for a run, you can participate vicariously in Mike's adventure by reading his Blog and paging through the Photos that he submits. Once Mike has passed through your area we would be excited to get any links to articles or videos that you would like to share with us so that we can post those on our News and Video pages. Pictures would also be greatly appreciated and may be viewed on our Photo page. Those and any links as mentioned above may be sent to us at info@projectamericarun.com. Not only do we want you to send us your information, we want you to send information about Project America Run to all of your friends, neighbors and, well, EVERYONE you can think of! Make a Donation In addition to all of the items listed above, donations are also very much appreciated. You may visit the Donate page to see how the money is utilized to help Mike complete his run and to assist Honor Our Veterans in their goal of helping wounded veterans. There are actually two different methods provided to donate. The first allows you to choose a particular soldier or marine to sponsor and honor their memory. If you would like to do this you may go to the Locate A Flag page where it is possible to search for a soldier or marine by name, hometown, etc. There are links provided for each soldier or marine to take you to the appropriate place in the online store for Project America Run. You may choose to sponsor multiple different soldiers/marines at different monetary levels. The second option is to go to the online store. Once you are there you may click on either the Donation Amounts tab or the Soldiers tab at the left of the screen. The Soldiers tab lists all of the soldiers/marines to be honored and it is probably best to try to do a Quick Search if you are trying to locate someone specific to sponsor. The Donation Amounts tab takes you to a screen that lists a variety of monetary amounts that you may choose in different increments to sponsor the project itself and honor all of the fallen.
